Lightwave Supports Our Military Kids

Lightwave actively support philanthropic causes near and dear to our hearts. Our Military Kids is a nonprofit that offers extracurricular activity grants to kids whose parents are deployed service members. Lightwave recently partnered with Our Military Kids for our LAUNCH event where we printed shirts for our attendees and all shirt donations went to Our Military Kids. We were able to donate $15,000 to Our Military Kids that funded 50 scholarships for after-school activities, each worth $300! We recently received a very sweet note above from one of the recipients of afterschool math and reading tutoring.

Our Military Kids® is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering extracurricular activity grants to children and teens of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post-9/11 combat wounded, ill, or injured Veterans in treatment.

Lightwave is proud to support an activity grant to help build children’s self-confidence, enhance family wellness, and strengthen a shared sense of community.
